Priced round
A fundraise where you sell shares at a specific company valuation today. Everyone knows the price per share — unlike most SAFEs and notes before they convert.

A bit more nuance▾
- Priced rounds usually mean more legal work and a clearer cap table snapshot after close.
- Seed and Series A are often priced; many pre-seed checks are SAFEs or notes.
